Information we collect
We collect the student name, contact email, phone number, age group, preferred class level and timing, any medical or learning information you choose to share, and records of enrolments, invoices and payments.
Privacy policy
TAAL NZ Limited respects your privacy and follows the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
How we use it
Information is used to arrange classes, confirm levels, issue invoices, process payments, keep attendance and assessment records, and send you academy notices about your classes.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers and are not stored by the academy. We keep only the payment reference, amount, currency and status so we can issue your receipt and invoice.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information and we do not share student details with third parties without written consent, except where required by New Zealand law or where a service provider such as our payment or hosting provider needs it to deliver the service.
Storage and security
Records are held in secure, access controlled systems. Only the academy administrator can view student records. Data is retained while you are enrolled and for seven years afterwards to meet tax and accounting requirements.
Photography and video
Classes and events may be photographed or recorded for promotional or training use. Tell us in writing at the time of enrolment if you do not want a student to appear in this material.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you and request corrections. Contact us and we will respond within twenty working days.
