Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every student enrolled with TAAL NZ Limited.

Sessions

Enrolling in TAAL secures a seat for each session related to the course term, irrespective of attendance. Students, parents and guardians are responsible for maintaining regular attendance. Duration of each session will be approximately an hour.
Courses are divided into 4 terms depending on the number of sessions. Total number of sessions may vary depending on the course, excluding public and other holidays.

We expect students to maintain 100% attendance to maintain the rhythm of learning. If a student is unfit or unable to attend due to any circumstances, the teacher should be notified at least an hour before the nominated session time.

All individual session fees mentioned are in NZ$ and exclude GST, unless otherwise stated.
Payment is expected by the due date mentioned on the invoice. You will be invoiced on a term basis. Payment may be made by card through the secure online payment option in the student area, or deposited by bank transfer to the nominated TAAL bank account.
Session fees for each course are reviewed annually and any changes made will be communicated at least a month in advance.
Late payment will be considered as a default and the teacher may withdraw students from a session at their discretion.

No fees would be refunded if you change your mind, miss an unnotified session or withdraw from the course during the term, so please enrol carefully.
If the teacher is unavailable to take any scheduled session, for example due to sickness, a rescheduled session would be decided based on the availability and convenience of both the student and the teacher.

In the interests of the student's wellbeing whilst in the teacher's care, the teacher must be informed of any medical or other conditions affecting the student.
TAAL will not be responsible for students outside of the session time.

TAAL may occasionally video or photograph classes and may use them for promotional or training purposes. The student, parent or guardian agrees to these being used unless written notification to the contrary is provided at the time of enrolment.
TAAL will not share any personal details of the students with any third party without written consent.
The student, parent or guardian cannot copy, distribute or use any of the TAAL materials or applications as they are TAAL's property and are a copyright of TAAL.
TAAL may, from time to time and at its absolute discretion, amend these terms and conditions and these shall take immediate effect without the customer's consent.
